IUPAT DC38 is seeking Experienced Industrial Painter Sandblasters to work locally in the lower mainland.
We are currently looking to hire Experienced Industrial Painters for work in the lower mainland with frequent overtime opportunities that provide excellent income without having to work out of town!
Our Industrial Painters perform coating and coating maintenance work on Bridges, Tanks, Ships, LNG Facilities, Refineries, Hydro Dams, Ports, Terminals, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pipelines as well as in Shops.
Diverse in all aspects of their trade they will take on duties such as surface cleaning and preparation, abrasive blasting, brushing, rolling, airless spray, plural component spray, metalizing, Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) as well as quality control and assurance that each step is done in compliance with the specification.
They even operate specialized equipment such as, robotic systems to perform preparations and coating work in challenging environments, abrasive recovery systems (ARS) to reclaim and reuse materials on large projects, Swing stages, and elevated work platforms when needed to access areas that are not accessible by scaffolding.
